THE FIRM
Accounting Plus opened its doors in Lincoln Park, Michigan, over 40 years ago, built on a simple frustration: too many business owners were paying for an accountant who never picked up the phone, never explained anything, and showed up once a year with a bill and a stack of forms. We set out to be the opposite.
Since then, the firm has grown into a full-service practice backed by years of accounting and tax experience. We've stayed small on purpose - small enough that the principals know every client by name, and seasoned enough to handle the complicated work: multi-entity structures, S-corp elections, messy catch-up years, and the IRS notice that lands on a Friday afternoon.
Today, we provide bookkeeping, payroll, and business and individual tax under one roof - serving small businesses, real estate investors, and individuals who want an accountant who actually understands how their business makes money, and who's there year-round rather than once a season.

As a CPA for 20+ years across public accounting and corporate finance, I've come to believe most businesses don't need another number cruncher -they need an accountant who actually understands how their business works. And that is our goal: know the business, not just the books.
I'm Michigan born and raised, and I'm proud to run a firm rooted right here in Lincoln Park, serving small businesses across Downriver, throughout Michigan, and beyond.
